We staff Newmarket, Aurora, Stouffville, King, East Gwillimbury, Georgina as well, and they do not yet have pages of their own. They are a thinner market than the three cities below them, and honestly so: Newmarket and Aurora run close to one labour market, Stouffville and King are commuter and rural respectively, and Georgina sits far enough up Lake Simcoe that the region below does not really supply it. More notice matters more the further north you are.

York Region staffing questions
What is different about staffing in York Region?
The direction people travel. This is the largest residential base in the GTA outside Toronto itself, and a great deal of it commutes south every morning. So you are almost never short of professionals who live within range, you are competing for them against every practice between here and downtown. That changes what wins a shift. Reach is not your problem, and advertising it does nothing.
So what actually gets a shift claimed here?
The commute you take away. A professional who lives in Markham or Richmond Hill and normally travels an hour each way will look hard at a local shift, because you are offering back two hours of their day. Say where you are in terms they recognise, name the intersection or the plaza rather than the municipality, and post early enough that you reach them before they commit to something downtown.
Do Markham, Vaughan and Richmond Hill share a pool?
More than Mississauga and Brampton do, and less than the map suggests. They sit side by side, but the region's roads run north to south and the crosswise trips are the slow ones. Richmond Hill in the middle reaches both. A professional in Woodbridge does not casually work east Markham, and treating the three as one interchangeable market will cost you claims.
Do you cover Newmarket, Aurora, Georgina and the northern towns?
Yes, and we would rather say plainly that those markets are thinner than the three cities below them. Newmarket and Aurora work as close to one labour market, Stouffville and King are commuter and rural respectively, and Georgina up on Lake Simcoe is far enough north that the region below it does not really supply it. More notice matters more the further north you are.
Is the subway or GO any use for staffing here?
Partly. Vaughan has subway stations of its own at the end of Line 1, which reach one corner of a very large city. The Richmond Hill GO line runs peak-direction on weekdays rather than all day, so it is little use for a mid-day start or a trip back against the flow. Most professionals here drive, parking is generally free, and both of those are worth stating in a posting.
