Nobody chooses where to work by looking at a municipal boundary. They look at how long it takes to get there and whether it means sitting on a bridge. So when you post a shift in Burnaby, it goes to professionals living in Vancouver, New Westminster and half of Coquitlam as well, because that is the trip they are willing to make.
That is straightforwardly good for coverage. It does not make the metro uniform though: what a shift needs in Steveston is not what it needs in Whalley, and posting for the right one is what gets it claimed.

Do you cover every municipality in Metro Vancouver?
Coverage extends across all of it. What varies is depth. The pool is deepest along the SkyTrain corridors and in the larger centres, and thinner in the small villages such as Anmore, Belcarra, Lions Bay and Bowen Island, where a request may take longer to be claimed. We would rather say that plainly than imply every municipality behaves the same way and leave you short on the day.
Will a professional based in Vancouver travel to Surrey or Langley?
Some will and some will not, and it is entirely their choice. Professionals set the distance they are willing to travel, and every shift shows its location before anyone claims it, so nobody is dispatched somewhere they did not agree to. Offices further from the core generally do better by posting earlier, which gives more people the chance to plan around the trip.
Is one municipality easier to staff than another?
Proximity to rapid transit tends to matter more than which municipality you are in. An office near a SkyTrain station falls inside more professionals' travel radius than one the same distance from downtown but a bus transfer away from the network. If you are near a station, say so when you post. We do not publish fill rates or times for any market.
We run several offices across the metro. Can we manage them together?
Yes, and it is a common setup here. Groups and DSOs post across multiple locations from one account and can move coverage between sites. It is worth treating each site as its own catchment when you plan rather than assuming one pool serves all of them, because a professional who covers your Burnaby location may not accept your Langley one.
Who employs the professional, and what does it cost?
On temp and locum bookings we employ them, which means registration with the BC College of Oral Health Professionals is confirmed, insurance is carried and payroll is run by us. You get one invoice at an all-in hourly rate. Permanent placement carries a fee on conversion, quoted up front, and at that point your practice becomes the employer and runs its own checks.
